High Point Furniture has been in business and under the same ownership since 1983. The business was started by Chuck and Beverly Hockenberry in the old Engel's building located in downtown Jasper, Al. At that time the business was named Chuck-n-Berry's and sold a variety of items from antiques to women apperal. In the mid 1990's the business changed its name to Ole Town Creek Mall since it sold mostly antiques. In May of 2000, Beverly and Chuck's son, Reggie, joined the business after graduating from the University of Alabama. Later that year the business began selling new high-end furniture and thus changed its name to High Point Furniture. The business specialized in selling shipping returns from high end companies like Baker, Henredon, Hickory Chair, and many others. In August 2007, High Point Furniture moved from its downtown location to our new location on Highway 78. Since our move we have added several lines that we can custom order from. Since the move High Point Furniture has experienced a growth in business and is focused on becoming the premier furntiure dealer Jasper, Al area.
